We are keen collaborators and believe in pushing the boundaries of design and technology to create engaging and memorable experiences for our clients.

We are seeking an exceptionally talented Junior orMid-Level Designer focused on digital and interactive design to join our team. As a designer at Milkshake, you'll create and translate brand identities to interactive experiences and help our clients tell their stories and connect with people. You will be responsible for website design, user experience, brand concepts, wireframing, user interface design, prototyping, and creating successful products.

To succeed, you'll need to be detail-focused, team-oriented, and someone who can think outside the box. In addition, we want you to be yourself. So you're inclined to take risks that expand your creativity.

You can work from our office in Brooklyn, or remotely. Please note only remote work within the US is possible at this time.

What you’ll be doing:

We're looking for someone who has the chops to tackle it all. You will be involved in the entire project life-cycle: strategy, design iteration, prototyping, all the way to the final product.

• Delivering (along with the team) visual design components on time within projects
• Inspiring both colleagues and clients
• Refining user experience
• Helping shape the visual strategy of our clients
• Familiar with Figma. We use it for almost everything

About you:

• You have agency or studio experience
  
• You are detailed oriented and not afraid to push boundaries
• You've designed websites, apps, and products before
• Comfortable collaborating with designers in a multi-project environment
• Ability to translate branding to interactive experiences
• You care as much about fonts as your own pet
• You are not discouraged by feedback
• Care deeply about accessibility and user experience
• Nice to have -- You have an understanding of how motion can influence the design
